Heyyyy there, Listen to this email hereeee I’m woo adjacent and I think you are too. This means you’re practical, logical, and like tangible evidence based things–but you also mildly entertain things like manifestation, synchronicities, and memes about Mercury being in retrograde. I’ve been on an astrology bender for the last 6 months and I learned how to calculate that Mercury went into retrograde on July 17th and goes back to normal on August 11th. If there’s one astrological event that gets global recognition it’s this one. Probably because shit actually does hit the fan when it comes to communication, plans, tech, plane flights–regardless of your woo levels, nobody is off limits when Mercury decides to moonwalk. So even if you’re not woo adjacent, you might change your mind after reading this email because that important text somehow never made it, your washer and dryer stop working, or you have no idea what’s going on in a Zoom call because nobody is making sense. But here’s the thing, we don’t have to remain victims to what feels like the troll of the planets. Now’s a great time to do what are called the The “RE” verbs: 🌀Reflect It's time to finish things you’ve been avoiding–especially things that used to matter once upon a time and are now begging for closure or cleanup. It’s also recommended to: ✨Do more listening. ✨Do less rushing. ✨Do more refining. Luckily I’ve been planning to invite you to this body-doubling event since before the retrograde and this isn’t anything “new, new”. This Sunday on July 27th from 2:00pm to 6:00pm ET I’ll be hosting the very first “public” Power Move Sunday. This is a 4 hour body-double event that comes as a bonus to the Power Moves Workshop. I ran these within the Well-Being Program and we all experienced key moments that turbo charged momentum for personal projects, goals, or eliminating silent stressors off a to-do list. What makes Power Moves Sunday’s so special? Whatever you choose to put your energy towards, that’s your Power Move, and we’re not judging or comparing–just facilitating positive accountability. Then we get to “work.” Finally, with about 15-20 minutes left, we debrief and share what actually happened. You can pop in when you can, share what you’re working on in the chat, or share what you accomplished before having to dip out early. And if you struggle to come up with a reason to make time to do something for yourself, this is a greeeeat way to set a boundary for yourself. Hope to see you there! ✌🏾 Simie ✌🏾
P.S. In the spirit of Mercury being in retrograde, don’t wait until the last minute to join us. It's not a fan of impulse decisions lol. |
