Hi Friend! Remember Kennedy? Recently he hosted us (me and Abbey) to witness our favorite teams play in the biggest matches of the year. We watched the U.S. Women’s soccer team play Japan. Within the first 36 seconds of kickoff, Japan scored. 36 SECONDS. That’s faster than it takes to steep my tea 🤯 Dead silence in the crowd - mouth’s gaped open, hands on our heads, awkwardly watching blue jerseys jump up and down celebrating. Not a good start. At all. Despite these 💩ty starts both our teams won - the U.S. and USC. Then Kennedy said, “We may have got punched in the mouth comin out, but we kept our cool and did our thing.” LEMME TELL YOU. Since I have quit my job to take on greater things, I’ve been punched in the mouth. Repeatedly. 👊🏾💥Car needed repairs: $1090 👊🏾💥Tobi’s meds: $575 👊🏾💥Tobi’s blood testing: $1070 +$3000 of unexpected expenses less than a month after leaving my full time job. I was shooketh. Do I panic and go back to the clinic? Cry all day to Abbey? No. I just “keep my cool and do my thing.” If I’m gonna set out to help other people figure out how to live their best lives using their journals, I gotta walk the walk and believe it can be done. If I can do that. I’ll come out a winner - and you can too. Over the next few days I’ll be peeling back the banana on a journaling solution that includes, “how to keep your cool and do your thing” - even after getting punched in the mouth. Get excited. A ✨ special ✨ announcement is on the way. ✌🏾TTYL✌🏾 Simie P.S.S. What do you do to bounce back after getting punched in the mouth?
